Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong comes into the arena with We Were Soldiers by Sgt. Mackenzie blaring out of the sound system. Cox has chosen Solitaire Unraveling as his entrance music. Armstrong has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong walks into a left hand.

It looks like Craig Armstrong has been cut.
Armstrong is breathing heavily.
Cox clobbers Armstrong with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Cox feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Armstrong sprawling to the canvas! Armstrong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cox finish him?!

Armstrong is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cox grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Armstrong takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Cox cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
