I think Von might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kill to Survive. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Von is looking for a counter combo.
Von throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Hanma counters with a stiff right hand.
Hanma moves to clinch but Von breaks away

and Von counters with a takedown into side control.

Hanma throws Von to one side and escapes!

Hanma clinches up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Von pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hanma jumps guard and drags Von to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Von showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Von gets to his feet. Hanma looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

It looks like Kts Von has been cut.

Hanma wants to counter the offense by Von and move into the clinch position.

Von bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hanma throws Von to one side and escapes!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Von looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hanma is fending him off so far but Von persists. Nope, Hanma circles away and we're back to standing.

Von closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hanma pushes Von off and gets back to his feet.
Hanma throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Von's head.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hanma or perhaps it was just good defense by Von, which made it look bad.

Von rushes Hanma and presses him up against the cage.

Von drags the fight down to the ground.

Hanma gets to his feet - Von follows without any prompting.

Von instigates a clinch.
Hanma wants a takedown but no success here.
Hanma is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Von gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kts Von has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baki Hanma.

Von escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hanma closes this distance looking for a takedown but Von circles away.
Von is looking to counter the offense by Hanma and move into the clinch.

Hanma is working an open guard so Von takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hanma pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Von avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hanma dives in and grabs Von's left leg, looking for a takedown. Von pushes down on Hanma's head and hops out.

Hanma tries to sprawl but Von drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hanma tries to kick Von off in order to stand up. Von Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Hanma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Von decides to stand back up. Von steps back and let's Hanma get back to his feet.
Hanma tries to score a power double leg takedown but Von sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hanma somewhat.
Von appears to be looking for a big counter.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hanma tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Von counters with a left to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hanma enables Von to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hanma manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hanma is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Baki Hanma will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kts Von's cut.
That's time! Von's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Von comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hanma buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hanma tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hanma throws a one two combo.
Kts Von is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Von avoids the head kick by Hanma.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hanma uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Von looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hanma!

Hanma throws a leg kick but Von sees it coming and moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Von is standing up over Hanma. Hanma looks to escape but Von dives into side control.

Hanma gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Von.
Hanma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Von paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Von closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hanma's guard.
Von's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Von has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Von stands up from Hanma's guard - Von perhaps looking for a knockout.

Von moves into the clinch successfully.

Von turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Von manages to end up in side control.
Von advances to full mount.
Hanma is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Von is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Hanma lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hanma is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Von gets a takedown into half guard.

Von escapes and gets back to his feet.
Von tries to bum rush Hanma with a series of wild strikes but Hanma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hanma steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Von.
Hanma dodges the punch combination from Von.
Hanma is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kts Von will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kts Von's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Von swats away the attempt to clinch by Hanma.
Von has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hanma.
Hanma connects with a high kick.
Hanma goes for a double leg but Von avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Von continues to drive forward.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hanma.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Von throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Von fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hanma to the ground. Von is now in Hanma's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Von keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hanma's head.
Hanma takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hanma is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Von is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Von stands up over Hanma, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Von stands up and waves to Hanma to follow him.
Hanma closes the distance and clinches up with Von, looking for a takedown. Hanma pushes Von against the cage but Von circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Von wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kts Von has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baki Hanma.

Von dives in and scores a takedown into Hanma's guard.

Hanma wriggles free and stands up.

Von is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hanma's half guard.
Hanma scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Von manages to mount him!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Von is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hanma to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hanma shrugs it off.

Von working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Von controlling from mount.

Von seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hanma for as long as he can get away with.

Von goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hanma is on top in guard.

Hanma gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Von avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Von attempts a counter takedown but Hanma avoids it well and moves away.
Hanma misses with a wild combination.
Von feinted with a counter takedown.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Von.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hanma tries to escape but Von is in control.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kts Von.
