Dempsey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luchenko has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dempsey should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Luchenko has tightened it up now! Dempsey should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Steel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harmonic circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Phil Harmonic has been cut.
Harmonic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steel's waist but Steel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harmonic off to one side.

Harmonic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel tries to avoid it but Harmonic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel to the ground. Steel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The crowd cheers as Thomas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hero doesn't seem phased though.

The Hero's cut is getting worse.

Thomas drops Hero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hero looks back up at him and smiles so Thomas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action!


BOOM! Thomas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hero. Hero tries to recover but Thomas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hero lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
