The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marku throws the left hand but Hooez avoids the punch easily.
Hooez tries to move into range but Marku moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hooez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marku is fending him off so far but Hooez persists. Nope, Marku circles away and we're back to standing.

Hooez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marku's guard.

Marku has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hooez is really squeezing tight and eventually Marku passes out! Hooez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Garon Knightley.

Tochukwu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trimms walks away with a smile on his face. Tochukwu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tochukwu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tochukwu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tochukwu has his foot on Trimms's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trimms works his way back into a safe position though.

Tochukwu is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Trimms has his hands clasped together but Tochukwu extends and breaks Trimms's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tochukwu.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hopson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davito connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hopson scrambles back to his feet.

Hopson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hopson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Davito throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hopson takes a swing at Davito's ribcage but misses.
Hopson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Davito had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Davito cracks Hopson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hopson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Davito finish him?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davito knocks out Hopson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Davito before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Davito picks up the big W with a huge KO!

In his post fight interview, Pelosi Davito started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
