We've been told by Vermicelli 's head coaches at Elite Island Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swotter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vermicelli has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vermicelli and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Island Chief (ranked 6361 p4p, 25614 weight class) and Gunnar Goransson (ranked 604 p4p, 614 weight class). Island Chief had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Island Chief could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gunnar Goransson's chin.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wyldin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
