Mont Alvernne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alves looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Alves looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mont Alvernne has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Alves is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mont Alvernne yanks on the arm and Alves is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mont Alvernne.
