The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Duke throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Steve counters with a one-two to the body.
Duke walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Steve tries to bum rush Duke with a series of wild strikes but Duke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Duke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steve but Steve pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Steve moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Duke dives in for a single leg takedown but Steve sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Steve could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Steve throws a body shot but no joy.
