We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kangee is pushing Pallaton's head away, looking to escape. Pallaton manages to hold on to the position though.
Pallaton wants to control but Kangee is keeping him busy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hinto Kangee.

Nice sprawl there from Titus as Tate shoots in.
Titus throws a big counter head kick but Tate avoids it with no problem.
Tate fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Titus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Titus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tate to his feet.
Tate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Titus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Titus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tate's guard.

Tate working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Titus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Titus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
