Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lights is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lowe!
Lights wants to control the pace but Lowe is squirming around nicely.

Lights can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lowe is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lights lands a nice short elbow.

Lights is keen to just control but Lowe is a slippery customer.
Lights definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lights is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lowe is just riding it out for now. Lights eventually gives up the hold.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Night Lights dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lowe darts in looking for a takedown but Lights gets double underhooks and turns Lowe into the cage.

Lowe throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lights tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lowe is in Lights's guard.

Night Lights overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lights tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lights is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lights extends the arm and Lowe is forced to tap!

Night Lights was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
