The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bernard drives through and clinches with Genie against the cage.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shu Fang Tzeng (ranked 511 p4p, 1132 weight class) and Joey Horatius (ranked 30 p4p, 67 weight class). Tzeng's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mantra Chant. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horatius throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tzeng was covering up waiting for the punch and Horatius finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Tzeng's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Horatius really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
