The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusela uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lewis.

Kusela changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lewis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kusela throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis dodges the ground and pound from Kusela.
Lewis avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kusela.
Kusela throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Kusela trying to control the action but Lewis is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kusela tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Stomping takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Liddell throws a right hand that Stomping ducks under and follows up with a left that Stomping also avoids with ease.

Evans scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.

Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wilkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wilkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Woodcock.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Woodcock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
