The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Tech lands but Lee takes it in his stride.
Tech throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tech looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tech lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tech throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee tries to clinch but Tech is having none of it.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Tech.
We've been informed that Lee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tech manages to avoid it.
Tech throws a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Tech.
Tech throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lee on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tech fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tech will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tech shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lee eats them both and turns towards Tech to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Chino keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spangler's head.
Chino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Chino drops back looking for a leg! Spangler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spangler manages to kick Chino off! Chino jumps back into Spangler's guard.

Altamiro circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jankens to the canvas! Jankens doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Altamiro keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lazerus Limbtwister (ranked 1290 p4p, 2080 weight class) and Inacio Azevedo (ranked 200 p4p, 302 weight class). Limbtwister comes into the arena with Break Shit by - LIMP BIZKIT blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Limbtwister decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Limbtwister seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Azevedo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've been hearing good reports from Limbtwister's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Limbtwister is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Azevedo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Azevedo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Limbtwister. Oh but Azevedo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Limbtwister goes limp - he's gone! Azevedo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
