Crowe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Crowe persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee cracks Crowe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lee has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Crowe to stand back up!

Crowe jumps guard but Lee stands there with Crowe around his waist. Crowe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Lee's coach down at Hotrod Express MMA Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Crowe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lee walks away with a smile on his face. Crowe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lee feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Crowe sprawling to the canvas! Crowe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lee finish him?!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lee engages and cracks Crowe with a massive lead left hook - Crowe tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lee is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jung Lee!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Ace!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slice.
Ace darts in looking for a takedown but Slice gets double underhooks and turns Ace into the cage.

Ace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Slice's guard.
Ace prevents Slice from getting back to his feet.

Ace has gone for a leg lock! Slice slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ace's guard.


Ace looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Slice has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ace to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Slice is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ace pulls down on the head and he's put Slice to sleep! This one is all over!

Kimbo Slice was interviewed post fight and said 'You know, losing your title doesn’t feel good. But he fought great tonight and capitalized on my mistakes. I had a great camp and now it’s back to the drawing board and onto the next opponent. I will get this rematch and have that championship in my hands once again... Mark my words.'.
