I was talking to Vuce's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cobb misses with a wild combination.
Fire avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cobb looks to score with a jab to the body but Fire is just out of range.
Cobb swings for the body but Fire moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Cobb misses the target.
Fire drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cobb sprawls and moves away.
Cobb misses with a double jab.
Fire closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fire has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fire there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cobb throws a left that rocks Fire and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cobb dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Fire regain composure!
Fire has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fire is trying to get back to half guard.
Cobb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fire keeps working.
Fire manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Fire is keen to just control but Cobb is a slippery customer.

Cobb has hold of Fire's hands but Fire slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The cut above Semmy Cobb's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fire connects with a nice short shot to Cobb's temple.

Semmy Cobb's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Semmy Cobb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
