With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Shewmaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donsal Ori!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ori works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Steven Shewmaker has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shewmaker.
Ori lands a nice looking body shot.
Ori with a hook.

Shewmaker shoots in and gets a takedown into Ori's guard.
Shewmaker's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Shewmaker drops back looking for a leg! Ori is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ori manages to kick Shewmaker off! Shewmaker jumps back into Ori's guard.
Shewmaker works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ori actively working from the bottom here.
Ori really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shewmaker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shewmaker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ori is just riding it out for now. Shewmaker eventually gives up the hold.
Ori tries to roll over but Shewmaker keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shewmaker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Ori looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Shewmaker wants to work for an arm triangle but Ori is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ori is looking for a sweep. Shewmaker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Shewmaker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ori wants to get back to full guard.

Shewmaker passes to side control.
Shewmaker works to advance to full mount. Ori defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Shewmaker quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Shewmaker but it's paid off an Ori is forced to tap! Nice work by Shewmaker.
