The fighters circle, before Mercer throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hayes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mercer lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottoman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ottoman wants it to stay on the feet.
Seppo Sepi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sepi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ottoman wants to counter the offense by Sepi and move into the clinch position.
Sepi shoots for a double leg takedown but Ottoman sprawls well. He's pushed Sepi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
