With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Tupp!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rader throws a shot from downtown. Tupp moves away and avoids it.
Donk. Rader catches Tupp right on the button with a cross.
A swing and a miss from Rader.
Rader scores with a nice strike.
Tupp throws a looping overhand right but Rader ducks down to avoid it.
Tupp misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Tupp.
Rader swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rader darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Jack Tupp has been cut.
Rader looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rader misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tupp moves to clinch but Rader breaks away
letting Rader counter with a right hand.
Rader is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Rader displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tupp.
Rader avoids a punch combination nicely.
It looked like Rader wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dennis Rader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tupp takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tupp is defended easily by Rader.
Rader swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Rader throws a hook but Tupp avoids it easily.

and Rader counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tupp tries to clinch there but Rader circles away.
Tupp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rader throws out the jab.
Rader throws a jab when Tupp was well out of range.
Tupp throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tupp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rader really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tupp moves out of range as Rader strikes.
Jack Tupp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tupp walks into a left hand.

Tupp closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rader quickly recovers to half guard.

Rader pushes Tupp off and gets back to his feet.
Tupp moves out of range as Rader strikes.
Tupp throws a head kick but Rader moves out of range.

Tupp darts in and clinches Rader up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Rader tries to work over Tupp's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rader gets underhooks to prevent Tupp's takedown attempt.
Dennis Rader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Tupp.

Rader breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tupp doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rader counters with a nice uppercut.
Tupp throws a hook to the side of Rader's head but Rader sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tupp throws a series of punches but Rader moves out of range.
Rader moves out of range as Tupp strikes.
Rader swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rader takes a swing at Tupp's ribcage but misses.
Tupp throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rader sees it coming and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Rader misses the target.
Tupp dives in and grabs Rader's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rader pushes down on Tupp's head and hops out.
A little feinted left hand from Rader on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rader scores with a shot to the body.
Tupp misses with a combination
and Rader counters with a straight right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Jack Tupp's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tupp closes the distance and clinches.
Rader content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Rader lands a nice uppercut.
Rader tries to work over Tupp's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tupp blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Tupp drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rader pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rader lands a nice hook to Tupp's body. Tupp takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tupp on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dennis Rader is winning the standup battle so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tupp throws a right and a left that Rader avoids nicely.
Tupp swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Rader counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tupp! Rader lets Tupp back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Rader misses the jab.
Tupp tries to clinch up.
Tupp rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rader counters with a huge right that knocks Tupp out cold! Rader is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dennis Rader!
A relieved looking Dennis Rader thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Jack Tupp had this to say: 'I come in ready to die in this arena.'.
