Control clobbers Lopez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Carlos Lopez has been cut.
Control throws a body shot but no joy.
Control works the jab nicely.
Control's coach down at MMA LA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Control's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Control swings widly with a right hand
and Lopez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Control misses with an uppercut. Lopez saw that one coming.
Control throws a looping overhand right but Lopez ducks down to avoid it.
Control throws a big shot that misses.
Control lands a jab to the nose.
Control drops Lopez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Control follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
