Winters is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Xomme.
Winters steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Xomme.
Nice takedown defense from Winters. No joy for Xomme on that attempt.
Winters drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Xomme defends it well.
Xomme doesn't manage to clinch there - Winters circles away.

Xomme tries to sprawl but Winters drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Xomme is trying to escape back to his feet but Winters uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Xomme looks to move to half guard but instead Winters has passed into mount! Damn!
Winters controlling his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Winters working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Xomme turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Winters off and cradles Xomme's limp body as Winters celebrates with his corner.

Acemoglu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Acemoglu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Damien feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Test wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Damien manages to pass to side control.

Damien seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Damien is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Test is just riding it out for now. Damien eventually gives up the hold.

Oshea changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tillet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tillet's coaches at Island Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
