Undercard bout

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kingston Banks (ranked 4687 p4p, 4418 weight class) and Donald Esquivel (ranked 0 p4p, 406 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kingston Banks has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kingston Banks seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks looks to land a left hand but Esquivel moved out of range nicely.
Esquivel walks into a jab.

Esquivel has taken the fight to the clinch.

Esquivel wants the takedown. Banks is fighting it off but Esquivel persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Banks's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Esquivel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Banks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Esquivel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Banks is keeping the position for now.

Banks looking for a triangle here. Esquivel is fighting it but it looks tight! Banks pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Esquivel is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crusher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ori lands the left hand.
A combination from Ori does no damage.
Crusher was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Crusher misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Ori. Those never looked like landing.
Ori avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ori misses with a wild body shot.
Ori connects with a good right hand that stumbles Crusher. Crusher circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A lazy left from Ori finds it's target.
Crusher comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Crusher throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crusher throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Crusher throws a nice looking combination but Ori bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ori lands a jab to the nose.
Crusher ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Crusher is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Ori swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crusher moves out of range of the strikes.

Crusher lands a really nice looking cross but Ori seems unphased.

Crusher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crusher looks to land a combination but Ori avoids it well.
Ori dips to his left and cracks Crusher with an uppercut!

Crusher scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ori in his tracks.
Ori misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crusher.
Crusher takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oh Crusher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crusher blocks a jab.
Crusher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ori.
Crusher went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ori is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ori swinging wildly here.
Crusher lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ori misses with a hook. Crusher ducked under it nicely.
Nice shot lands for Crusher.
Ori ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Crusher's jaw. Crusher's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ori does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Despite the aggression on Brown's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gutierrez doesn't seem phased though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gutierrez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with Gutierrez 's head.
Gutierrez doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown clobbers Gutierrez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brown plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Gutierrez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brown goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
No joy there for Gutierrez , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gutierrez .
Gutierrez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Brown throws a hook to the side of Gutierrez 's head but Gutierrez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice leg kick from Gutierrez , right into the meat of the thigh.
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gutierrez blocks a head kick by Brown.
Gutierrez appears to be looking for a big counter.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gutierrez grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Brown takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gutierrez cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dix catches Killjoy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Dix gets tackled into the cage by Killjoy. Killjoy maintains the clinch.

Killjoy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dix can't fight it off and eventually Killjoy manages to take the fight to the floor. Dix looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Killjoy is standing up over Dix. Dix looks to escape but Killjoy dives into side control.

Killjoy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dix is trying to escape and Killjoy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dix is forced to tap! Nice work there by Killjoy! Very nice indeed!
