Turn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've been told by Sydal's head coaches at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sydal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sydal wants it to stay on the feet.

Turn gets a clinch.

Sydal is trying to drag Turn to the mat but Turn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tillet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gallahad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tillet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tillet has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gallahad to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tillet is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gallahad pulls down on the head and he's put Tillet to sleep! This one is all over!
