The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmsfrid displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Platypus.
Platypus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Helmsfrid defends well and Platypus ends up having to push Helmsfrid into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Platypus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Platypus is trying to pull guard but Helmsfrid turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Helmsfrid is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Platypus gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

In his post fight interview, Zhang Wei started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Atkins postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maddison is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Atkins , into his guard.

Maddison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Home throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Car sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Home swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Home throws a hook to the side of Car's head but Car sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Car rushes Home with punches - Home moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Home goes down! Car follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
