With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Death Knell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shredder Slash! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knell is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A head kick misses from Knell. Slash moves in looking to clinch but Knell pushes him off. Knell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Knell is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Knell tries to land a front kick but Slash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Knell has closed the distance and engaged Slash in a clinch.
Slash pulls Knell into guard.

Knell is fighting off a takedown attempt but Slash is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Knell to the mat. Knell regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Knell wants to sweep but no luck. Knell is pulling down on Slash's head. It's preventing any offense from Slash, at least for the moment.
Slash drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slash jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Slash stands up out of the half guard. Knell wants to clinch up but Slash keeps it at a distance. Knell misses with a body kick. Knell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knell.
Knell tries to clinch there but Slash circles away.
Knell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A combination from Knell does no damage. Slash unleashes a big counter combination but Knell bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Death Knell. I think Knell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Khabib Chimaev! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chimaev throws a right and a left that both miss. We've been hearing reports that Hughes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Chimaev connects with a jab. Hughes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hughes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chimaev. Hughes checks a leg kick. Chimaev fails to land with a series of punches.

Chimaev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chimaev is looking for a sweep. Hughes remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Hughes working away. Chimaev is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hughes winds up and cracks Chimaev with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hughes seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKee goes for a double leg but Voranovskis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Voranovskis continues to drive forward. Voranovskis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McKee has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
