Kuroda has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Baenre is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kuroda.

Kuroda is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Baenre knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Baenre for a finish.

Baenre is sitting in close to Kuroda's body. Kuroda has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Baenre is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Baenre is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kuroda.

In his post fight interview, Daizen Kuroda started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
