Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonathan Caruso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hada Pija! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pija lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Caruso decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Caruso is keen to just control but Pija is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caruso throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Caruso is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Caruso seems to be working for a kimura but Pija defends the submission attempt. Caruso missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caruso is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pija is just riding it out for now. Caruso eventually gives up the hold.

Pija is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Pija really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caruso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Caruso tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pija controls his leg. Pija makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pija. Pija is controlling Caruso's posture. Pija is working an open guard so Caruso takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Pija looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice sprawl there from Pija as Caruso shoots in.

A close second round but Hada Pija will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pija tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Caruso paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caruso keeps the fight on the outside.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pija tries to clinch but Caruso is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pija with a poor takedown
and Caruso counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Caruso. Caruso has Pija pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pija manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Caruso. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pija has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Caruso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Caruso tries to score a body lock takedown but Pija shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Caruso has hold of one of Pija's legs. Pija is fighting the takedown attempt but Caruso gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Pija has his foot on Caruso's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Caruso works his way back into a safe position though. Pija is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Caruso pushes down on Pija's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Caruso postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pija to stand up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Caruso.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Caruso has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pija avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A bit of stalling here from Pija.
Pija's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Caruso misses with a takedown and Pija counters with a big head kick but Caruso shrugs it off. Caruso misses with a takedown and Pija counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Caruso misses with a takedown
and Pija counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Caruso throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Pija manages to pass to side control. Caruso can't do much from the bottom here. Pija tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Pija working away. Caruso looks to move to half guard but instead Pija has passed into mount! Damn!
And that's the end of the fight! Hada Pija comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pija has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva stuffs the takedown. Gouveia fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Silva tries to clinch up but Gouveia circles away and keeps his distance. Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva motions for Gouveia to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gouveia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gouveia somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Gouveia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gouveia on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Tran is going oldschool here, as he tries to force mandingo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so mandingo shrugs it off. Tran thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tran dives in and grabs mandingo's left leg, looking for a takedown. mandingo pushes down on Tran's head and hops out. mandingo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A right-left combo lands from mandingo. mandingo scores with a jab to the body. mandingo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. mandingo scores with a kick to the midsection.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iacono throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Iacono bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. brax walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Iacono checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Iacono dodges the punch combination from brax.
brax tries to close the distance and clinch up but Iacono swats him away and circles back towards the center. brax tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Iacono paws at him with a jab and circles away. brax is looking to clinch. Iacono lands a straight punch to the body, keeping brax at a distance.

 It looks like allen brax has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! brax slips a jab and a cross from Iacono.

Iacono throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent brax stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. brax is breathing heavily. Iacono looks for a takedown but brax sprawls well. Iacono connects with a jab. brax is looking to clinch but Iacono is avoiding it.

Iacono bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Iacono advances to mount. brax in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. brax on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if brax tries to get out of the position. Iacono loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have brax scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Iacono land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Iacono stands and salutes the crowd.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Stevenson or perhaps it was just good defense by E which made him look bad. Nice shot by E. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stevenson is defended easily by E. Stevenson slips a straight right by E. E looks to score with a jab to the body but Stevenson is just out of range. E lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Stevenson fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Stevenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stevenson throws a hook but E avoids it easily. E uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevenson. A jab from E finds it's way through Stevenson's defenses. Stevenson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stevenson tries to move into range but E moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. E connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stevenson throws a head kick that misses. E connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by E.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stevenson is looking to improve his position.
E tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stevenson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of E's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take E's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevenson throws a series of strikes and E wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here. Stevenson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for E because Stevenson loaded up on that one. E is wriggling around trying to escape.

E plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! E moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. E slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
 Stevenson is rocked! A left lands for E. E has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. E ducks down and throws a hook to the body. E scores with a leg kick.

E fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. E lands with a thumping leg kick.

I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Python stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Python wants it to stay on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sundqvist. Python misses with a looping right.
