Rotta Retale had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 209.2, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Carlos Blanka was cancelled.

Adam wants to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Adam crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Heatherington - the referee stops the clock and Adam gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Heatherington. Adam manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Heatherington tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adam paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Heatherington throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Heatherington throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Adam shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heatherington's guard.
Adam works over Heatherington with some ground and pound from guard.
Heatherington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Heatherington wants to get back to his feet but Adam is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Adam is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Adam has gone for a leg lock! Heatherington slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adam's guard.

Adam has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
