The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai Gi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kai Gi fakes the leg kick and cracks McRonald in the body.
A nice combination there by Kai Gi.
Kai Gi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McRonald sprawls well. McRonald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kai Gi gets slowly back to his feet.

McRonald closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kai Gi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Kai Gi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McRonald is aware though and is defending well.

McRonald is looking to take a break and control but Kai Gi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McRonald is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kai Gi is trying to escape and McRonald transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kai Gi is forced to tap! Nice work there by McRonald! Very nice indeed!
