The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke moves away from the strike by Silva.

Clarke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Clarke with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Clarke's coach down at JAG Battle Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Clarke's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Silva has Clarke pressed against the cage, preventing Clarke from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Clarke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Clarke. Those never looked like landing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Clarke.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Silva was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Clarke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.

Silva stalks Clarke and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clarke's face. Clarke staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Dan Clarke has been cut.

Clarke tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva lands an overhand right.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clarke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clarke throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silva counters with a three punch combo that has Clarke backing up. Clarke nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes.

Clarke is rocked!
Silva throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Clarke crashing down! Clarke tries to stagger back to his feet but Silva just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Clarke asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Madison has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dormmamu uses from the top position.
Madison on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Madison tries to get out of the position.
Madison has control of Dormmamu's left arm, preventing Dormmamu from doing any damage.

Dormmamu is sitting in close to Madison's body. Madison has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dormmamu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dormmamu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Madison.

Corona bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ryan tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Ryan tries to buck Corona off so he can stand up but Corona has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Ryan falls backwards, slamming Corona to the mat but Corona holds on tight! Ryan is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Dea goes for a double leg but Jensen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jensen continues to drive forward.

Dea's coach down at Lovelair's MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dea's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dea looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jensen drops his hands momentarily and Dea takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dea feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jensens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dea moves in looking to clinch but Jensen pushes him off.
Jensen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
