The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia wants to clinch.
Henderson looks to land a combination. Maia sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Henderson misses with the combination.
Maia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Henderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A left and a right from Henderson both land. Nice combination.

Maia is rocked!
A punch combination from Henderson misses.
Oh Maia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maia dives in and grabs Henderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Henderson pushes down on Maia's head and hops out.
Henderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Maia get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Maia stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Henderson runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Wayne moves in looking to clinch but Alder pushes him off.
Alder is still on wobbly legs! Can Wayne finish him?
Nice defenses there by Alder.
Wayne throws a powerful right kick. Alder tried to block low but the kick was high! Alder was taken right off of his feet! Wayne jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Burton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Tim Burton has been cut.
Burton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Burton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Burton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nemera paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Burton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nemera manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Nemera has his feet on Burton's thighs here. He's pushed Burton off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Burton screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

We've been told by Vergys's head coaches at Iron mikes mma that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Wallace lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Van Bromer backs up against the cage.
Van Bromer shoots in looking for a takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl out of it but Van Bromer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wallace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wallace uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Van Bromer.
Wallace throws a good cross that connects.
Wallace lands with a hook. Van Bromer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Van Bromer goes for a double leg but Wallace avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wallace continues to drive forward.

As Van Bromer backs off Wallace throws a huge counter combo but Van Bromer manages to avoid it all.

Van Bromer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wallace connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Van Bromer scrambles back to his feet.

Wallace lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Van Bromer shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wallace lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Van Bromer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Van Bromer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Wallace misses with a two punch combination.
Van Bromer has a takedown stuffed.
Van Bromer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Van Bromer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wallace is looking to get back to his feet here but Van Bromer is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wallace's back.

Van Bromer is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wallace has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Van Bromer working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Wallace has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Van Bromer is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wallace knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wallace for a finish.

Van Bromer is looking for the choke from the back position but Wallace is controlling his hands well.
