Dave Steele decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bardia Farrokhzad!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrokhzad lands a nice looking body shot.
Farrokhzad lands a jab to Lotus Style's midsection.
Lotus Style takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Funky Lotus Style has been cut.
Lotus Style changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Farrokhzad tries to avoid it but Lotus Style manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Farrokhzad to the ground. Farrokhzad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bardia Farrokhzad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Farrokhzad throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lotus Style rushes Farrokhzad and presses him up against the cage.
Farrokhzad landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Lotus Style changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Farrokhzad fights it off and pushes away nicely.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lotus Style tries to pull guard but Farrokhzad forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Funky Lotus Style. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh Lotus Style is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Farrokhzad dips a shoulder and cracks Lotus Style with a mighty uppercut! Lotus Style falls back against the cage and Farrokhzad unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lotus Style is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Farrokhzad screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bardia Farrokhzad!
