The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Name counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hugo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Name tries to avoid it but Hugo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Name to the ground. Name escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

First Name has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mateus Hugo.

Hugo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Name defends well and Hugo ends up having to push Name into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fury feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Atlas (ranked 2749 p4p, 267 weight class) and Szymon Kasprzyk (ranked 4203 p4p, 354 weight class). Daniel Atlas had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!
