The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneil wants to slow Platinov down by chopping away at his legs.
Platinov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Platinov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Platinov closes the distance and clinches up with Oneil, looking for a takedown. Platinov pushes Oneil against the cage but Oneil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oneil drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Platinov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shaquille Oneil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romeo Platinov.
Platinov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Platinov throws a lazy right hand but Oneil sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Oneil connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Platinov to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Oneil!

McRae drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McRae passes Derkins's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Derkins won't allow McRae to pass to mount.
McRae wants to take a breather but Derkins is having none of it.

McRae is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Derkins is looking to control McRae's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Derkins avoid being mounted?
McRae passes to side control.

McRae has an Americana. Derkins didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McRae is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McRae hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
