Hickson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bol's guard.

You can see the frustration on Santos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A nice side step and Harris releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

The fighters circle momentarily. Astro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Harris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Astro scores with the left hand. Harris knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Marcus Harris has been cut.
Astro fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harris looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Astro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Astro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Astro lands a left and a right that send Harris crashing to the mat, dazed. Astro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Astro cracks Harris with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Harris tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Astro pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Harris is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Charlie Astro is the new lightweight champion!
Charlie Astro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
