Farias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brewer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Farias has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Brewer is persistently looking for the submission but Farias is defending it well.

Brewer has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Farias! Can he survive? No! He's out! Brewer gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miguel shoots for a takedown but Tuhura saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tuhura tries to counter by clinching up but Miguel breaks away and moves out of range.
Miguel shoots in for a takedown but Tuhura shows good takedown defense.
Tuhura feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Miguel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tuhura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miguel somewhat.
Kyoksu Tuhura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Miguel.
Miguel shoots in and drives through. Tuhura sprawls well.
Tuhura seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Tuhura tries to close the distance and clinch but Miguel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Joao Miguel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Miguel or perhaps it was just good defense by Tuhura, which made it look bad.

Miguel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuhura tries to avoid it but Miguel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuhura to the ground. Tuhura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Miguel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tuhura connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Tuhura drops Miguel with a huge uppercut! Miguel drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Tuhura is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
