Newalu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Avalos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Avalos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Newalu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Avalos is looking to defend but Newalu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Avalos! Newalu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Avalos taps out and this one is all over!

Bittencourt shoots in looking for a takedown. Lau tries to sprawl out of it but Bittencourt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lau manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bittencourt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lau manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lau is wriggling around but Bittencourt manages to pass to half guard.


Bittencourt seems to be working for a kimura but Lau defends the submission attempt.

Lau is looking to get back to full guard here but Bittencourt has managed to pass to side control instead.

Bittencourt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bittencourt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Jr has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Arteezy is really squeezing tight and eventually Jr passes out! Arteezy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Sotaro throws a jab but it's blocked by Casaus.
A little feinted left hand from Casaus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Casaus thows a left - swing and a miss!
Casaus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Casaus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Casaus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sotaro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Casaus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sotaro misses with some punches.

Sotaro jumps guard and drags Casaus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sotaro is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Casaus has his hands clasped together but Sotaro extends and breaks Casaus's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sotaro.

Harvey is looking for a sweep. Sisu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

We've been hearing that Sisu has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
