Slaughter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dupont stacks Slaughter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dupont!
Slaughter manages to get back to half guard.

Dupont is working for a submission of some sort.
Dupont uses his free foot to push down on Slaughter's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Slaughter.

Dupont is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Slaughter is surviving well by controlling Dupont's body position as best he can.

Slaughter is desperately trying to improve his position but Dupont has a good base and remains in mount.

Slaughter tries to clinch up but Dupont circles away and keeps his distance.

Dupont throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dupont uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slaughter.
Slaughter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dupont manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dupont fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slaughter avoids it really well and circles away.
Slaughter let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Slaughter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dupont moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dupont. Slaughter does a little dance to reset his feet.

Slaughter closes the distance and clinches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dupont swings wildly with an uppercut but Slaughter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dupont tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Slaughter tries to throw a body punch but Dupont avoids it by throwing Slaughter back against the cage.
Slaughter works on Dupont's body with a couple of short punches.

Dupont is trying to pull guard but Slaughter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Oh Dupont is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slaughter is working Dupont over against the cage.
Slaughter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dupont with a big uppercut! Dupont tries to clinch up but Slaughter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dupont to the mat! Dupont covers up and Slaughter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
