The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabran slaps away a takedown attempt from Bellatoo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bellatoo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cabran pinned against the cage. Cabran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bellatoo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cabran swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cassius Bellatoo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bellatoo shoots in looking for a takedown. Cabran tries to sprawl out of it but Bellatoo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cabran manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cabran has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bellatoo is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Cabran catches Bellatoo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bellatoo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cabran circles away.
Cabran uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cabran lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
