Prince's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Prince was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sisu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eugen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sisu working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The referee asks Sisu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sisu prefers to stall for the moment though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
