The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heim with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Freds to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd cheers as Freds lands an impressive looking overhand right. Heim doesn't seem phased though.

Freds ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Freds lands with an uppercut that bounces Heim off the cage and back into range.

Pick tries to close the distance and clinch but Jia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jia swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pick drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jia lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Pick goes down and covers up as Jia starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Pardo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
