Matthews is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mitchell is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mitchell flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Matthews anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mitchell and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Matthews slips an arm under Mitchell chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Matthews has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Matthews is squeezing on Mitchell like an anaconda would it's prey. Mitchell fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Boortz throws a hook but White avoids it easily.
A nice side step and White releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
