The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorde misses with a straight right.
Gatmaitan moves out of range as Lorde strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Lorde. Those never looked like landing.
Gatmaitan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice shot lands for Gatmaitan.
We've been told by Lorde's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lorde tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gatmaitan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lorde connects with a body shot that sends Gatmaitan's belly button to the back.
Gatmaitan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lorde pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gatmaitan throws out a counter right but Lorde avoids it with no problem.
Lorde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lorde takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Gatmaitan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lorde looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Lorde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gatmaitan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lorde's head backwards.
Gatmaitan cracks Lorde with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lorde falls to his knees and Gatmaitan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

and Thunder counters with a shoot takedown. Freeman fights it but they end up in guard.

Wolfe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Slive was covering up waiting for the punch and Wolfe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Slive can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wolfe controls the pace.
Wolfe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Slive wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wolfe manages to pass to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Slive gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wolfe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Wolfe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Wolfe is in close to Slive's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Wolfe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slive but Slive pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Slive went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kimbo Slive has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Wolfe.
