Shjon Luis struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Zachariah closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Di Pietro seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Di Pietro looks to land a body kick but Kyle moved away.
Kyle takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Di Pietro lands with a nice body kick.

Di Pietro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Mike Kyle has been cut.
Kyle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Di Pietro tenderised Kyle's leg. Kyle is trying to keep his angry face on.

Tomy Di Pietro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Mike Kyle stepped up to the mic, saying 'This guy stinks? Why this guy? Have you even seen my record? No way this guy wins!!!'.
