The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles misses with a jab to the body
and Zimmer counters with a left to the body.
Zimmer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A quick step to the side and Miles tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Zimmer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zimmer lands in his opponent's guard.

Zimmer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zimmer has managed to get both his arms back between Miles's legs - danger averted.

Miles is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zimmer defends well.
Zimmer wants to stand but Miles has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Oh but Miles is tightening it up a little... Zimmer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zimmer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zimmer taps out! Nice BJJ there by Miles!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aleandro Ruiz (ranked 25376 p4p, 713 weight class) and Yan Oslo (ranked 5279 p4p, 474 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruiz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gasolina - Daddy Yankee. Oslo has chosen CHILDREN OF BODOM - Trashed, Lost & Strungout as his entrance music. Aleandro Ruiz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 173.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Yan Oslo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ruiz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oslo throws a right hand that Ruiz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruiz also avoids with ease.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Oslo!

It looks like Aleandro Ruiz has been cut.
Oslo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oslo fails to land with a series of punches.
Oslo lands a slapping body shot.
Ruiz misses with an uppercut.
Oslo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ruiz defends it well.

And Oslo tries to counter it with a takedown but Ruiz pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Oslo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Ruiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Oslo throws a right and a left that Ruiz avoids nicely.
Ruiz seems to have got his legs back now.
No joy there for Oslo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oslo lands a left and a right that send Ruiz crashing to the mat, dazed. Oslo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oslo throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ruiz crashing down! Ruiz tries to stagger back to his feet but Oslo just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ruiz asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Maxwell looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rash has picked Maxwell up and slammed him! Maxwell can't keep hold of the triangle and Rash manages to pass to side control!

You can see the frustration on Maxwell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Maxwell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rash off and has taken his back!

Maxwell is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rash is defending well though. Maxwell let's go of the attempt for now.

Maxwell isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rash stacks Maxwell on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rash!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maxwell, as that shot connected.

Rash bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Maxwell pushes Rash away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rash gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Romero is looking to work some ground and pound but Second has wrist control.
Second keeping moving, preventing Romero from controlling successfully.
Romero slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Romero cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Romero wants to finish this one by submission but Second is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Romero.

Holk throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lee on the side of the head.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Holk tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
