The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singha leaves Hoppe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hoppe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Singha throws out the jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lightning is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Despite the aggression on Lightning's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Leagatius drops Lightning with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lightning looks back up at him and smiles so Leagatius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Leagatius dances in with a quick combination. Lightning is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Leagatius snaps Lightning's head back. Lightning stumbles backwards against the cage. Leagatius steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Lightning's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Lightning just didn't come prepared.
