The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunton steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tanagul. That one must have hurt.
Brunton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tanagul closes the distance but Brunton moves to the side

and Brunton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tanagul is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brunton trying to pass the guard but Tanagul defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dunnachai's guard.
Patton trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunnachai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Patton stands up from Dunnachai's guard - Patton perhaps looking for a knockout.
Dunnachai leaves Patton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dunnachai throws out a counter right but Patton avoids it with no problem.

Kong Dunnachai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arahmas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Black's waist but Black gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arahmas off to one side.

and Black makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Shelby will probably get the nod.

Golov feints with a jab and clips Heritageaka right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Heritageaka is sent crashing into the canvas and Golov leaps in for the kill! Heritageaka tries to get to his feet but Golov is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Heritageaka is in need of a savior and steps in!
