Richardson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Richardson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kay avoids it really well and circles away.
Kay lands a nice looking body shot.
Richardson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Richardson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Richardson.
Kay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kay getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Jack Richardson has been cut.
Richardson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Richardson is breathing heavily.
Kay closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Richardson out cold! Richardson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aalto lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sandman backs up against the cage.
Aalto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Aalto does no damage.

Aalto lands a left and a right that send Sandman crashing to the mat, dazed. Aalto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Mr Sandman has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sandman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aalto at a distance.
Sandman sizes up Aalto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Leo Aalto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandman scores with a jab. Aalto acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Leo Aalto has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Sandman.
Sandman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sandman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aalto momentarily.
Sandman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aalto on the side of the head.
Aalto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sandman to score with a decent uppercut.
Sandman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Aalto's head backwards.
A punch combination from Aalto misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Aalto lands a left and a right that send Sandman crashing to the mat, dazed. Aalto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sandman is rocked!
Sandman connects with a crisp jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sandman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sandman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Aalto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Aalto takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Aalto misses with a few strikes there.
Sandman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Leo Aalto's cut is getting worse.
Sandman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aalto momentarily.
Aalto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sandman tests Aalto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Aalto feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Sandman crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Cooper (ranked 6692 p4p, 655 weight class) and Liam James (ranked 6237 p4p, 627 weight class). Cooper comes to the cage accompanied by Rockstar Post Malone. James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

James ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cooper tries for a takedown but James circles away easily
and Cooper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cooper shoots in but no luck this time.
A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Cooper takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James lands a big right hand that sends Cooper crashing to the mat! James stays standing though and waves Cooper back to his feet!

Cooper is rocked!
James fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Cooper square on the jaw! Damn, Cooper is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

After winning the bout, Liam James thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Bull lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Bull lands a left hand.

Bull manages to break the clinch.
Smith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bull definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bull lands a slapping body shot.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
As Smith tries to get set, Bull tries to push him back and clinch up but Smith manages to avoid the attempt.
A left lands for Smith.
Bull lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.
Smith throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It looked like Bull wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bull. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A clash of legs there as Bull blocks the low kick.
Bull swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bull scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith misses with a straight left.
Bull throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Bull fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bull avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Bull was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Smith.
Smith lunges at Bull with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bull's hand.
Bull takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Smith thuds his right hand into Bull's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bull doesn't seem bothered though.
Bull misses with a lunging right hand
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Smith might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bull throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.
Bull lands a really nice looking cross but Smith seems unphased.
Bull lands a nice shot to the body.
Bull cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Smith fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bull checks it well.

Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Bull.
Bull swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Balder Bull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bull uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Bull scores with a jab. Smith acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Smith cracks Bull with a good jab.
Bull misses the shot to the body.
Bull moves into range and connects with a jab.
