The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machoiro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Moroz throws out the jab.
Machoiro walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Moroz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Machoiro connects with a body shot.
Machoiro misses with a series of wild punches.
Machoiro clobbers Moroz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Moroz closes the distance and clinches.
Moroz lands a left hand.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Moroz.

It looks like Connecto Machoiro has been cut.
A head punch on the inside from Machoiro fails to land.
Machoiro's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Machoiro tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Moroz's elbow.
Machoiro misses with the head strike.
Nice body punch from Moroz.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawasaki shoots in looking for a takedown but Sraka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kawasaki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sraka appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Kawasaki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sraka to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kawasaki has his feet on Sraka's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kawasaki tries to clinch there but Sraka circles away.
Sraka slaps away a takedown attempt from Kawasaki, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Sraka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Andrzej Sraka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Kawasaki.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sraka - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Sraka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kawasaki uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sraka looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kawasaki throws an elbow that misses. Sraka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kawasaki's guard. Nice move by Sraka!

Kawasaki can't keep his opponent in guard - Sraka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sraka is trying for a kimura here. Kawasaki looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sraka wins by kimura!

Sreckovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Hellman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hellman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sreckovic is trying to escape back to his feet but Hellman uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Sreckovic is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The referee asks Hellman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hellman prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hellman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hellman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sreckovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hellman on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sreckovic wants to get back to his feet but Hellman drags him back down.
Sreckovic is not content to let Hellman control the position.

Hellman stands up.

Sreckovic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hellman to the mat! Hellman manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sreckovic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hellman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Hellman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sreckovic defend it? Hellman steps over the head and cranks it - Sreckovic is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hellman!
