The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill thumps Favorton with a low kick.

Favorton tries a body shot but Hill blocks it.

Hill has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Favorton is trying to keep an underhook but Hill manages to get the takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Favorton's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lopez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Lopez shoots for a double leg takedown but Zhan sprawls well. He's pushed Lopez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cashnew is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Lawler tries to clinch up but Magnunsen pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lawler to the mat! Lawler covers up and Magnunsen unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Thor Magnunsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
