Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between davie hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrick Cassel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cassel has chosen Sucks to be me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rodrick Cassel will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassel misses with a looping right.

It looks like davie hogan has been cut.
Cassel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from hogan.
hogan walks into a jab.
Cassel fails with a takedown attempt.

hogan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cassel's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

hogan shoots for a takedown but Cassel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cassel closes the distance and clinches up with hogan, looking for a takedown. Cassel pushes hogan against the cage but hogan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cassel is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cassel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. hogan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
davie hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Joezer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racken thumps Dangerfield with a low kick.
Racken slips a jab and a cross from Dangerfield.
Dangerfield lands a nice hook to Racken's body. Racken takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Racken tries to move into range but Dangerfield moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fighters circling - Racken throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dangerfield scores with a decent looking hook.
Dangerfield misses with a looping right.
Racken misses with a hook. Dangerfield ducked under it nicely.
Racken walks into a left hand.
Dangerfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Racken. Racken gets slowly back to his feet.
Dangerfield missing with a left hand there. Racken was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Racken throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dangerfield counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Racken throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dangerfield slips a jab from Racken.
Dangerfield ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Racken fails with an attempt to clinch.
Racken connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dangerfield stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dangerfield wants it to stay on the feet.
Racken is breathing heavily.
Dangerfield with a hook.

Dangerfield cracks Racken with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dangerfield has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Racken to stand back up!

Racken is rocked!
Racken shoots in but no luck this time.
Oh Racken is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Racken. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dangerfield lands a big uppercut and Racken crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Racken looks OK. Dangerfield waves Racken back to his feet!
Racken switches off momentarily and Dangerfield cracks him with a monster right hand! Racken topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Dangerfield dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Dangerfield!

Henning comes into the arena with In For the Count ( Perfect Twist) blaring out of the sound system. Marquinhos Cunha is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Henning shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Henning was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Cunha really wants to buck Henning off and get back to his feet.
Henning lands a nice shot to the head.

It looks like Marquinhos Cunha has been cut.
Henning content just to control the position here.
Henning lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
You get the feeling that Cunha really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Cunha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Henning takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Henning's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Henning has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Henning is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Henning tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cunha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cunha throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
