Genes jumps guard but Hunter turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hunter swings wildly with an uppercut but Genes uses good head movement to avoid it.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hunter screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Heath has instead reached around Yuri's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Heath arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Kane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Seek N Strike. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zodd slips a straight right by Agnarsson.
Zodd displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Agnarsson throws out the jab.
It seemed like Zodd was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A slow jab from Agnarsson misses its intended target.
Zodd looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Agnarsson slips under a jab from Zodd.
Agnarsson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Agnarsson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zodd.
Zodd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Agnarsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Agnarsson walks into a left hand.
Agnarsson slips a straight right by Zodd.
Agnarsson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Zodd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zodd there as he acknowledges the shot.
Zodd throws a hook to the side of Agnarsson's head but Agnarsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zodd needs to keep his hands up - Agnarsson had a free shot at his head there.
Nosferatu Zodd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zodd moves out of range as Agnarsson strikes.
Agnarsson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Agnarsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Agnarsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Agnarsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zodd gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Agnarsson cracks Zodd on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zodd falls backwards against the cage. Agnarsson follows up with more strikes that drop Zodd to his knees. Agnarsson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zodd! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Grimur Agnarsson!
